Auto Detailing Quote Form Template — Vehicle Size, Condition and Package
A package price multiplied by vehicle size and condition, with add-ons and a mobile call-out fee. Best for studios and mobile detailers who need the bay reserved for the right number of hours.
Overview
Detailing prices are package prices, not hourly rates, and the package only holds if the vehicle matches the assumption behind it. A hatchback and a seven-seat van are not the same job at the same price, and a car with neglected paint can double the hours of the same package.
The form should therefore ask three things in order: what the vehicle is, what condition it is in, and what result the customer wants. Everything else — pet hair, engine bay, odour, headlights — is a priced add-on rather than a surprise at collection.
Best for
Detailing studios, mobile detailers and paint-correction specialists who sell packages but cannot price them without knowing the car and its current state.
The field list
Every question below earns its place: it changes the price, the visit or the crew. If a question does none of the three, leave it out.
| Field | Type | Why it is asked |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle category | Select (single) | Hatchback, saloon, SUV, van. Surface area and interior volume are the two drivers of detailing time. |
| Paint condition | Select (single) | Light swirls, moderate defects or heavy oxidation. Paint correction is priced from the condition, not from the car size alone. |
| Interior condition | Select (single) | Clean, average or heavily soiled. The same interior package can take twice as long on a neglected car. |
| Detailing package | Select (single) | Maintenance wash, interior deep clean, full detail, paint correction or ceramic coating. The package is the base price. |
| Pet hair present? | Yes / No | Pet hair is slow, manual work. It is either priced or it is absorbed as a loss. |
| Engine bay clean? | Checkbox | A distinct job with its own products and drying time. Price it rather than bundling it into a wash. |
| Odour treatment? | Checkbox | Ozone or enzyme treatment is an extra process, not an extra rinse. Customers who need it know the smell. |
| Headlight restoration? | Checkbox | Wet-sanding and polishing two headlights is a fixed, quotable task. |
| Service mode | Select (single) | Studio bay or mobile at the address. The mode changes both the price and the booking slot. |
| Drop-off time | Time | A full detail occupies the bay for most of a day. The arrival time determines whether it fits before closing. |
| Before photos | File upload (optional) | Photos of the paint and the interior confirm the condition question and prevent the classic "that is worse than described" moment. |
Price rules
Each row is one option in the builder with the operation attached to it. The example column is the arithmetic you should see in the live total; use it to check your own configuration before publishing.
| Option | Rule | Worked example |
|---|---|---|
| Maintenance wash | +65 | 65 |
| Interior deep clean | +120 | 120 |
| Full detail | +260 | 260 |
| Paint correction (one stage) | +320 | 320 |
| Ceramic coating | +650 | 650 |
| SUV or van surcharge | +15% | 260 × 0.15 = 39 |
| Heavy paint defects | +20% | 260 × 0.20 = 52 |
| Pet hair removal | +45 | 45 |
| Engine bay | +40 | 40 |
| Odour treatment | +55 | 55 |
| Headlight restoration | +70 | 70 |
| Mobile call-out | +35 | 35 |
| Winter salt removal | +25 | 25 |
The amounts are illustrative, not a price list. Replace them with your own cost base and currency before publishing — and keep the order of the rules, because a percentage applied to the wrong subtotal changes every total downstream.
Conditional logic
Conditional rules keep the form short without losing the information. Add them in the order below and test each trigger before you publish.
If Package is maintenance wash
Then Hide paint-condition and interior-condition questions. A wash cannot correct either, and asking implies that it can.
If Service mode is mobile
Then Show the address field, the water-access question and the call-out fee; hide the bay number. A mobile job depends on facilities the studio job does not.
If Paint condition is heavy defects
Then Offer paint correction as the only valid package and show a consultation note. Selling a wash for oxidised paint guarantees a complaint.
If Ceramic coating is selected
Then Require a full-day slot and show the curing note. The car cannot be collected the same afternoon, and the booking must reflect that.
If Pet hair is Yes
Then Require an interior package or above. Pet hair cannot be removed by an exterior wash.
If Vehicle category is van
Then Show the height check for mobile sites. A van that does not fit under the customer’s car park canopy is a wasted call-out.
Rebuild it in Clickobook
This is the build order we use. It ends with two test submissions, because a priced form is only correct when a total you calculated by hand matches the one on screen.
-
1
Create a "Your vehicle" section with category, paint condition and interior condition. These three answers decide almost the whole price.
-
2
Add the package select with a price on each option, then put the add-ons in a separate multi-select or checkbox group. Do not mix packages and extras in one list.
-
3
Paste the percentage rules first (vehicle size, paint defects), then the flat add-ons. The order matters: the surcharge applies to the package, not to the extras.
-
4
Add the conditional rules and test a maintenance wash on a saloon against a ceramic coating on a van. The first should hide the condition questions; the second must reserve a full day.
-
5
Add the service-mode branch last: mobile shows an address and a call-out fee, studio shows a drop-off time.
-
6
Submit one mobile booking and one studio booking. Confirm the mobile job asks for water access and the studio job does not.
Three things that make this template convert
Show the package price for the selected vehicle immediately, before the add-ons. The customer needs an anchor, not a total that jumps by hundreds at the end.
State the collection rule for ceramic coating on the page: the car stays overnight. It is the most common misunderstanding in this trade.
Use a maintenance-wash coupon for returning customers. Detailing is a repeat service long before it is a one-off purchase.
