Cleaning Quote Form Template — Rooms, Frequency and Add-ons
A base visit price built from rooms and bathrooms, then a frequency discount that turns a one-off quote into a recurring booking. Best for domestic and small-office cleaners.
Overview
Cleaning quotes fail for a different reason than roofing quotes. The price is rarely the problem — the visitor simply cannot tell what is included. "Three-bedroom clean" means different things to a family with a dog, a short-let host and an office manager.
A good cleaning form prices the visit from countable facts, then makes the recurring option the obvious choice. The discount is not a marketing gimmick: a weekly client is worth more than four one-off clients, and the form should say so with a number.
Best for
Residential cleaners, office cleaning teams and short-let changeover crews who sell a repeatable visit rather than a one-time project.
The field list
Every question below earns its place: it changes the price, the visit or the crew. If a question does none of the three, leave it out.
| Field | Type | Why it is asked |
|---|---|---|
| Property type | Select (single) | An apartment, a house, an office and a short-let have different checklists and different access rules. |
| Bedrooms and living rooms | Number | The main per-room unit. Count rooms that are cleaned, not rooms that exist. |
| Bathrooms | Number | Bathrooms take longer per square metre than any other room, so they are priced separately. |
| Kitchen size | Select (single) | A kitchenette and a large family kitchen are different jobs. Four sizes are enough; a slider is not. |
| How often? | Select (single) | The commercial heart of the form. Frequency drives the discount and the slot length. |
| Add-ons | Multi-select | Oven, fridge, windows, carpet, balcony and laundry are the extras clients ask for by name. Price each one. |
| Pets in the home | Yes / No | Hair and odour add time. A small percentage surcharge is easier to explain than a longer visit. |
| Who brings supplies? | Select (single) | Either the price includes materials or it does not. Leaving this implicit is how "the quote was for labour only" conversations start. |
| First clean at this address? | Checkbox | A first clean is a deep clean. Charging the same as a maintenance visit underprices your own team. |
| Preferred date | Date | Availability is part of the quote: a price for a day you cannot staff is not a real offer. |
| Access notes | Text (optional) | Parking, key safe, concierge, alarm. One line prevents the most common failed first visit. |
Price rules
Each row is one option in the builder with the operation attached to it. The example column is the arithmetic you should see in the live total; use it to check your own configuration before publishing.
| Option | Rule | Worked example |
|---|---|---|
| Base visit | 45 flat | 45 |
| Each additional room | +18 per room | 5 rooms × 18 = 90 |
| Each bathroom | +25 each | 2 × 25 = 50 |
| Large kitchen | +50 | 50 |
| Weekly | −20% | 245 × 0.80 = 196 |
| Fortnightly | −12% | 245 × 0.88 = 215.60 |
| Monthly | −5% | 245 × 0.95 = 232.75 |
| Oven clean | +35 | 35 |
| Fridge clean | +25 | 25 |
| Interior windows | +40 | 40 |
| Carpet shampoo | +9 per m² | 20 m² × 9 = 180 |
| Pets in the home | +10% | 245 × 0.10 = 24.50 |
| First deep clean | +25% | 245 × 0.25 = 61.25 |
The amounts are illustrative, not a price list. Replace them with your own cost base and currency before publishing — and keep the order of the rules, because a percentage applied to the wrong subtotal changes every total downstream.
Conditional logic
Conditional rules keep the form short without losing the information. Add them in the order below and test each trigger before you publish.
If Frequency is one-off
Then Show the "first deep clean" option and hide the "same cleaner every visit" promise. A one-off has no recurring relationship to promise.
If Carpet shampoo is selected
Then Show "carpet area (m²)" and price it per square metre. Otherwise the add-on is a flat guess that is wrong in both directions.
If Property type is short-let
Then Show the changeover window and a linen-change add-on. Short-lets are scheduled around guests, not around the owner.
If Rooms is more than 5
Then Offer a quick call before confirming. Large homes vary too much for a form to price blind.
If Client brings supplies
Then Remove the supplies line and show a short checklist of what must be on site.
Rebuild it in Clickobook
This is the build order we use. It ends with two test submissions, because a priced form is only correct when a total you calculated by hand matches the one on screen.
-
1
Create a "Your property" section with property type, rooms, bathrooms and kitchen size. Put the room and bathroom counters side by side so the visitor sees the two things that move the price most.
-
2
Add the frequency question before any add-on. The discount is the reason the visitor keeps reading, so do not bury it under six optional extras.
-
3
Add the add-ons as a multi-select with a price on every option, then attach the carpet per-m² rule as a conditional follow-up question.
-
4
Set the percentage rules for frequency and pets, and the flat rule for the first deep clean. Check the order: the discount should apply to the visit subtotal, not to the add-ons.
-
5
Add the date and access questions last. Ask only for a preferred date, not a fixed appointment — availability is confirmed after the quote.
-
6
Run two test submissions: a weekly three-room apartment with no extras, and a one-off five-room house with carpet and a dog. If both totals look believable, publish.
Three things that make this template convert
Show the frequency discount as a monthly figure, not only a percentage. "196 per visit, about 784 a month" is a decision; "20% off" is arithmetic homework.
Name the excluded tasks on the page: inside cupboards, inside the oven unless added, balcony unless added. The quote holds because the scope is explicit.
Use the same form for offices by changing the property-type options and the room labels. Do not build a second form that drifts from this one.
